Your images stay on your device
Image selection, decoding, cropping, background processing, encoding, verification, and download happen inside your browser. PixelComply does not upload your image, file name, embedded metadata, or converted result to an application server.
What the hosting service can log
Like most websites, the hosting and security provider can process basic connection data needed to deliver and protect the site:
- IP address and approximate country
- Browser and device user-agent
- Requested page, time, response status, and security identifiers
Advertising, cookies, and consent
PixelComply uses Google AdSense to request, display, measure, and protect advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process the page URL, IP address, browser or device information, and ad interactions. They may use cookies or similar local storage for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and—where permitted by your choices—personalization.
Advertising requests do not contain the image you select or the file PixelComply creates. Consent options may be shown where required. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services in Google's partner-sites privacy notice.
The hosting provider may also set a short-lived security cookie for bot and abuse protection. There is no PixelComply account and no saved image history.
Shared settings links
A shared URL can contain only the selected format, pixel dimensions, optional KB limit, and background setting. Images and results are never placed in the URL.
